After a six-year pause, the 2024 symposium will return to the location that served as home-base for the first 42 years of our meeting history. Formerly the Westin Resort, this property was rebranded in 2021 as a four-star property under Marriott’s Autograph Collection. It is ideally located slope-side, steps away from shops and restaurants on the Snowmass Mall, and convenient to a range of offsite lodging options. See lodging page of this website for additional information including lodging rates established for the meeting and reservation instructions.
Located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, approximately 200 miles west of Denver, Snowmass Village is six miles from the Aspen Airport (ASE), nine miles from Aspen, and 68 miles from the Eagle County Airport (EGE). Flights from across the country fly into both airports.
Note: Eagle County (Vail) airport, which is approximately a 1½-hour drive from Snowmass, is preferred by some travelers because the Aspen airport is more prone than others to weather-related closures. Door-to-door ground transportation to/from Snowmass Village lodges may be arranged through your travel provider, or directly with vendors such as Roaring Fork Express.
